Abstract


Pointers from the American Freedom of Choice Act

In a 1986 letter to Arkansas Right to Life, then Governor Bill Clinton wrote: 'I am opposed to abortion and to government funding of abortions .... I do support the concept of the
proposed Arkansas Constitutional Amendment 65 and agree with its stated purpose.' (That no public funds would be used to pay for any abortion, except to save the mother's life.)
